Dining in Color

This simple, functional and yet a room with character, I found it in real living magazine, Just loving that table, with the colorful chairs. The multicolored  bookshelf, what a way to spice things up. All fashion piece and accessories are available on ModCloth. I totally love that ring, very similar to the Dior Milly-la-foret collection rings however significantly cheaper. Oh and the shoes have little love hearts on them so cute.

Stylish Interior - Candace Bushnell

This is Candace Bushnell apartment in Manhattan, isn't it just delightful. I love the pastels, the chic Parisian lounges. This is from Elle Decor, the green and gold dress is from Single, the shoes are Lavin, earrings are Bijoux Heart, blouse is Catherine Malandrino, that fabulous skirt is by Zimmermann.  

Relaxed Chic Living

Just adore this room (from Elle Decor), I love the combination of color and light. The pale pink walls are just breath taking, with the amount light that streams through the window. The patterned pieces of furniture with the plain white chairs, its just the right combination of color, intrigue and detail. My absolute favorite piece is the coffee table/Ottoman, the deep blue with the natural wood tones, sits so comfortably with the wooden floors. As I love the color combination so much I found some gorgeous clothes and accessories to go with this adorable room. The brigth pink dress is from Mod Cloth, the bight blue shinny bag is Marc by Marc Jacobs, the green dress is Milly, the shoes are Bloch, and the cardi is by Crumpet. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Understated Elegance

Found this in Vogue Living Nov/Dec 2008. It may be from an old magazine, but hasn't gone out of style.
The light is fantastic it really make this picture, I can image sitting reading the paper with a cup of tea, just perfect.

Bright & White

The crisp white furniture, walls and clothing, not much can beat that chic. I just love the look of it, so crisp, fresh and bright. The contrast between the dark wood and the chic white on every other surface just divine! White floor boards OMG who would have thought, sheer genius! The decotrating ingenious is from Elle Decor. The gorgeous cut out dress is by Catherine Malandrino. The Fabulous satin skirt with the applique trim is by D&G, it almost looks like little butterflies on the trim. The ruffle wrap top is by Milly. The oh so adorable babushka dolls are actually measuring cups from Mod Cloth. The satin shoes are by Christian Louboutin. The petite bag is by Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Vouge Living

I love this room, its eclectic feel, with the mass of pink and purples. I also love the mirror on the wall with pictures shoved in the frame. It has the cosy fell to it. Just adore it. This was from the March/April edition of Vogue Living 2010. Happy Moday1

Black and Blue

I absolutely love this waterfall tunic from Fleur Wood, it is gorgeous, its brings that summer feel, of the bright blue ocean back into your wardrobe in winter without freezing to death. you can always put a singlet underneath loss items to add more warmth, in addition to leggings and a scarf. The shorts are from Fleur Wood as well, the jacket is from Zimmerman and the shoes are from Church's. Bloom

As it is miserable and cold in South Australia, I am looking forward to the summer months when I can wear dresses, little skirts, and my cute green shorts. All those outfits have been shoved to the back of the closet waiting for warmer weather. So this outfit is more a motivation to stay fit so I can keep wearing pretty dresses next summer. The shoes of course are by Christian Louboutin, the dress is by Giambattista Valli, the bag is by Fendi and the ring is by Roberto Cavalli.

Blue Romance

The picture is from the romantic movie of all time Bright Star which is a gorgeous tale about love against all odds. So if you love your romance/dramas this is must see, I'm not very good at a summing up a movie, usually i just tell most of the story and there is no point seeing it, so I won't spotlit it for you, but I will tell you this the pain of love is demonstrated very well in this film.  This picture is what induced me into the theater in the first instance so I though it was a great inspiration to do all things blue for my post today. Jewelry

Jewelry holds a special place in my heart but I didn't realize that until I lost my favorite ring last Thursday. This ring was given to me by my mum which was given to her by my father on her 19th Birthday, so when I realised it wasn't on my hand I freaked out. It made me think about all the Jewelry that I have been given over the years and what place it holds in my heart. They all have special meanings to me whether it is a 'valuable' piece or not, its not about the monetary value of the jewelry I own its the memories and love that the piece symbolize. Just after I started to look at new rings and ideas for designing my own ring to replace my lost ring, I found it! This morning in with my clothes which were soaking. I was delighted. Although these design ideas that I had has reignited my Jewelry making desires. So I have been looking for ideas in all sorts of places.These are just a few of the rings I've been looking at from Tiffany & Co.

Purchasing a New Purse

Purchasing a purse is a really personal shopping experience, its about your taste and functionality for the purchaser. Every one has different needs and tastes from one another. I take great care and contemplation before I purchase a new purse mainly because you need to know what where the good parts and the bad parts of your current purse, and because you need to find exactly what you want as its going to be with for a while. I have had my current beloved purse for two years and its starting to look a bit shabby, I purchased it in Sydney from Coach in the Queen Victoria Building which is a breath taking building even more so during Christmas as they have a huge Christmas tree beautifully decorated that can be seen on all floors. Back to purses, so its time I started my search for a new purse, here are a few that I like; the Pink crocodile is DKNY, the purple is Yves Saint Lauren, and the bottom two are Coach.

I saw these on Mod Cloth there just so cute I had to show you, they are salt and pepper shakers. Perfect for any table, for any occasion. It puts fun back into design.

Another gem website I have discover for gorgeous yester year vintage is Archive. The cardi is Chanel, the suit is Christian Dior and the coat is Escada. These are just a few I like they a large range of vintage including bags, shoes, jewelry and even Hermes scarves.

Not liking the fashions of today well have you tired vintage. The cream coat and blouse is Gucci and the suit is Cristian Dior and at a franction of the price of new Dior or Gucci items. Rice and Bean vintage , they ship across the globe.

I noticed my last three post where all black, so i thought blue would be a nice change. Dress is Missoni, just beautiful, looks like a florist shop or field of flowers, bag is from Stella McCartney and sandals are Tapeet.
